Because this movie, describing the lives of common people in Showa 33 (1958), was a hit, attention has gathered on the era centering around the Showa 30's, and has become \"The Showa boom\". However, actually this attention to Showa arose not in last 1-2 years ago, but when the Showa era ended and the Heisei era started, and has increased steadily. I introduce the actual situation of \"the Showa boom\" in this paper, and investigate its cause and its future.
