 note = {During the last two centuries, particularly in the latter half of twentieth century, the economy has made rapid progress, and we are now confronted with global collapse. We will discuss the process and stages of economic development in the two centuries, and analyze the change and structure of economic system. We can identify two types of society ; the economic-social system and the socio-economic system. The former is an economy-oriented social system which is the present system, and the latter is a society-oriented social system which is the future sustainable one. In conclusion, we present the requirements of the sustainable Socio-Economic System.},
