| 内容記述 | Yamamoto Teijirō (1870-1937) was well known as an entrepreneurs, politician, and collector. In his whole life, he was eager to collect the Meiji and Taishō periods' Chinese paintings and calligraphy. Those collections were later preserved at Chokaidō Museum in Mie Prefecture, called "Yamamoto collections". As a key person of Chinese paintings and calligraphy's collector in Modern Japan, Teijirō was significant and influential towards the Chinese arts, which introduced to Japan after the 1911 Revolution. However, there is still insufficiency on the study of Teijirō. This paper focus on the relevant preface and "Yamamoto Teijirō's letters to Naitō Konan", for the purpose of analyzing Teijirō's life, his collections, and his friendships. | |||||
