As far as I am concented, the current Chinese translations of Aesop's fables in Japan mainly include ISuPuTan in Chinese and Critical Chinese translation of Aesop's Fables. In addition, during the Meiji period, Takanori Nakata translated Beijing Mandarin Aesop's Fables. Such translations all had a certain influence in Japan at that time. This article will take Critical Chinese translation of Aesop's Fables as an example to examine its original version and its content characteristics while trying to explore its development and influence in Japan.
