 note = {At the end of the 16th century, the early Jesuits who came to China represented by Matteo Ricci and Giulio Aleni traveled eastward, setting off a wave of “Western learning to the east”. The maps and geographical books created by them introduced a large number of foreign country names and place names into the Chinese vocabulary system, and were first ruled by the Ming Dynasty. The maps and geographical books of Ferdinand Verbiest and Michel Benoist in the KangQian period absorbed and inherited the characteristics of the early Jesuits who came to China. National names they translated, which offered rich source materials for later authors. And also promoted the gradual optimization and final unification of the translation of foreign national names after entering the Chinese vocabulary system.},
