Some Japanese firms have enjoyed a second period of growth by being involved in such developing regions, but the majority of firms are still not sufficiently integrated into such markets. Thus, there is huge potential for Japan's firms, with their technically advanced and well-respected products, to develop and expand into such new markets. In order to respond to this issue, it is necessary for the management groups of parent companies in Japan (including their CEOs), financial organizations, and public sector agencies to develop educational programs.
