We interviewed 14 staff members(managers, leaders, and general care staff) from the two special nursing homes for the elderly under the two social welfare corporations that use management philosophy. The results revealed that realizing in these facilities is difficult owing to various factors such as the facility being a place of communal living, limited engagement with the community, and an insufficient understanding of the family and community residents. Although each staff member practiced management philosophy, there was a lack of own attitude toward practices that reflect management philosophy as a whole facility. Moreover, the strong culture and meaning generation models are inadequately practiced as methods for penetration of management philosophy.
