MIYAKE Shōsai was one of the leading figures of the Kimon school and wrote many works on the subject of Family Rituals such as Shushi Karei Hikki, Karei Zakki, etc. However, these writings have received little attention, and even the basic matters, such as what texts are exist and what their characteristics are, have not been investigated. In this article, therefore, I will introduce Shōsai's writings related to Family Rituals and discuss their bibliography as well as the writings of some of his students.
