We used “Temma-Tenjin no mizu”, that is well water drowned in Temma-Tenjin Shrine located in Osaka prefecture Japan, as the example of a newly developed resource. For data analyses, two surveys and one experiment were conducted. In the first survey, the data was collected through the internet, and we conducted interviews with about 300 peoples in the second survey. Moreover, we performed the experiment on sensory evaluations about “umami” of a soup stock made from tangle seaweed. In the experiment, subjects were asked to evaluate “umami” strength comparing between the case of using “Temma-Tenjin no mizu” and tap water. In the analyses of these data, we used logistic regression, Bayesian estimation of population means and self-organizing map (SOM). Through the analyses, we got a cluster of the people who want to actively contribute to using “Temma-Tenjin no mizu” effectively as a local resource. And we concluded that “Temma-Tenjin no mizu”, as a newly developed resource, would provide a base for positive networking in local
