(CMSN) was founded in 1872 as The CMSN Co. and would then grow as a representative company of East Asia. Since the end of the 19th century, however, as well as the mainly European and US steamship companies operating in China, a Japanese steamship company would enter the fray and compete intensely in the navigation business. During the Sino-Japanese War period in particular, the ring ships of the CMSN were recruited to Chinese warships and the navy business remained sluggish. However, after the anti-Japan war, the new voyage project was restarted, amid the withdrawal of Japanese steamship companies. This paper thus describes how the CMSN after the anti-Japanese war developed the navigation business}, pages = {A135--A157}, title = {1940年代後半における輪船招商局の航運活動}, volume = {51}, year = {2018} }
