It tells the story of Ryūei Tatsuoka, a man full of admiration for the Huns, the ancient nomadic people of the Western Regions of China. In it, he shows 'Watashi', the narrator and main protagonist in the novel, a new historical document about Ōshōkun (王昭君). Ōshōkun was one of the women in the palace of the Han Dynasty in China, who married a king of the Huns after leaving the Han Dynasty. Chinese poems and novels have described Ōshōkun as a tragic heroine because she was forced by the Han Dynasty Emperor to marry a man of 'barbarian' origin. In \"People invited to the Western Regions\",an essay written in 1963 , Inoue stated that the most famous tragedy related to the Western Regions of China was the legend of Ōshōkun and clearly shows how he also considered Ōshōkun’s legend to be a tragedy. However, in his novel, Meihi-kyoku, Inoue depicted Ōshōkun differently and described Ōshōkun as a woman who loves a young Hun man, while hating the Han Dynasty Emperor. Why did Inoue create a different image of Ōshōkun in his novel? Key to helping solve this problem could emerge in Tatsuoka. He is a man who is relatively weak physically, which is why he respects the enormous energy of the Huns so much. At the end of the novel, Tatsuoka dies in a battle in China, during World War II in a scene which reflects Inoue's own experience as a soldier in China in 1938 . In this article, I will point out which parts of the novel were created by Inoue, comparing the description of Ōshōkun in his novel with her description in historical Chinese books and plays. I will also analyze why Inoue created a different image of Ōshōkun admiring the Huns. Finally, I will also explain the connection between Tatsuoka's death and Inoue's experience in China.","subitem_description_type":"Other"}]},"item_10_full_name_3":{"attribute_name":"著者別名","attribute_value_mlt":[{"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"4592","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}],"names":[{"name":"Su, Yang"}]}]},"item_10_publisher_34":{"attribute_name":"出版者","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_publisher":"関西大学東西学術研究所"}]},"item_10_source_id_10":{"attribute_name":"書誌レコードID","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"AN0004709X","subitem_source_identifier_type":"NCID"}]},"item_10_source_id_8":{"attribute_name":"ISSN","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"02878151","subitem_source_identifier_type":"ISSN"}]},"item_10_version_type_17":{"attribute_name":"著者版フラグ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_version_resource":"http://purl.org/coar/version/c_970fb48d4fbd8a85","subitem_version_type":"VoR"}]},"item_creator":{"attribute_name":"著者","attribute_type":"creator","attribute_value_mlt":[{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"蘇, 洋"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]}]},"item_files":{"attribute_name":"ファイル情報","attribute_type":"file","attribute_value_mlt":[{"accessrole":"open_date","date":[{"dateType":"Available","dateValue":"2019-05-20"}],"displaytype":"detail","filename":"KU-0400-20180401-08.pdf","filesize":[{"value":"556.1 kB"}],"format":"application/pdf","licensetype":"license_note","mimetype":"application/pdf","url":{"label":"KU-0400-20180401-08.pdf","url":"https://kansai-u.repo.nii.ac.jp/record/2070/files/KU-0400-20180401-08.pdf"},"version_id":"5c51c627-b652-42d9-8fca-1fb4199db822"}]},"item_keyword":{"attribute_name":"キーワード","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_subject":"関西大学","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"Kansai University","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"私","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"'watashi'","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"田津岡竜英","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"Ryūei Tatsuoka","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"王昭君","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"Ōshōkun","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"匈奴","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"the Huns","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"}]},"item_language":{"attribute_name":"言語","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_language":"jpn"}]},"item_resource_type":{"attribute_name":"資源タイプ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"resourcetype":"departmental bulletin paper","resourceuri":"http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_6501"}]},"item_title":"井上靖「明妃曲」論 : 匈奴への憧れの物語","item_titles":{"attribute_name":"タイトル","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_title":"井上靖「明妃曲」論 : 匈奴への憧れの物語"}]},"item_type_id":"10","owner":"1","path":["298"],"pubdate":{"attribute_name":"公開日","attribute_value":"2018-07-30"},"publish_date":"2018-07-30","publish_status":"0","recid":"2070","relation_version_is_last":true,"title":["井上靖「明妃曲」論 : 匈奴への憧れの物語"],"weko_creator_id":"1","weko_shared_id":-1},"updated":"2023-05-15T21:06:54.845374+00:00"}
