| 内容記述 | Jin Bangping, a native of Anhui Province, was sent to study in Japan in March 1899 by the Minister of the North Seas, Yu Lu. In the same year, he entered the Nikka School, and in 1900 he entered the Tokyo Academy, the predecessor of Waseda University, from which he graduated in 1903. After arriving in Japan, he and other early students in Japan were inspired to work to save their country, so they jointly organized groups such as the Inspiration Society, the Youth Society, and the Qing Dynasty Students' Association, and founded academic magazines such as the "Compilation of Translated Books" which played an extremely important role during the late Qing Dynasty in helping the Chinese understand the advanced knowledge of politics, law, economy, history, and philosophy in Europe, America, and Japan. From these activities, one can catch a glimpse of Jin's political thought during his stay in Japan, and these thoughts were an important factor in Yuan Shikai's high esteem for Jin whom he emploted as political aide, etc. This paper lays the foundation for analyzing Jin's political thought as reflected in his activities in Japan in conjunction with earlier research. | |||||||||
