| 内容記述 | This study focused on two areas in central Shizuoka Prefecture that were damaged by both the 1944 Tonankai earthquake and the 2009 Suruga Bay earthquake, and examined the locations of damage concentration. The results revealed that locations that were heavily damaged in the 1944 earthquake suffered less damage in the 2009 earthquake. In addition, the locations where damage occurred in the 2009 earthquake were adjacent to the locations where damage was concentrated in the 1944 earthquake. Earthquake damage varies depending on the ground conditions. This is a peculiar result because the same locations tend to be repeatedly damaged by earthquakes. The cause of this phenomenon is thought to be a combination of the different damage characteristics caused by the two earthquakes and the different characteristics of the strong seismic motion. | |||||
