| 内容記述 | 本論では、全ての視覚障害児が運動を経験する場となる義務教育において、我が国の視覚障害児に対する体育の課題、すなわち標準化した指導方法の構築と共有の難しさについて考え、今後の指導のあり方について検討することを目的とした。方法としては、『学習指導要領』に焦点を当て、視覚障害児の体育がどのように位置づけられ、変化してきたのかを時系列に沿って確認した。さらに、現在の視覚障害児の体育の実態及び課題について、全国の特別支援学校を対象として調査・公表されている全国調査の結果を踏まえて考察した。その結果、1960年代頃には視覚障害児の体育指導について詳しく記載された学習指導要領があったが、現行の学習指導要領には具体的な記載はなく、小学校・中学校の学習指導要領に準ずる授業をするよう示されていた。そのように変化した理由の1 つに、多様化する障害児の教育的ニーズに個別の対応が求められていることがあると推察された。一方、具体的な指導方法が示されていない視覚障害児の体育の現場（視覚特別支援学校と一般の小学校・中学校）では、変化する在籍者数や重複障害者数に対応した指導方法の確立など、それぞれ課題が生じていることが考察された。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | In this study, we focus on the challenges and prospects of physical education for visually impaired children in elementary and middle schools in our country, which serve as venues for all visually impaired children to experience physical activity. We provide an overview of how physical education for visually impaired children has been handled in post-war educational guidelines. We examine the issues in physical education for visually impaired children, using statistical data from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science, and Technology as a reference. Current educational guidelines do not include specific instructions on physical education for visually impaired children. Instead, they indicate that lessons should follow the general guidelines for elementary and middle schools. However, statistical data shows that the number of students enrolled in special support schools for the visually impaired significantly decreased with an increase in the severity and multiplicity of disabilities. This suggests that it is challenging to implement physical education practices under the general school guidelines. Additionally, while the number of visually impaired children attending regular elementary and middle schools has increased, how these children participate in physical education with sighted children remains unclear, indicating that sharing information is one of the challenges. | |||||
