| 内容記述 | “Po Zhen Yue,” originally a grand piece of Daqu music, served as a palace music and dance performance that expressed the military achievements of emperors following the Dawu of the Zhou Dynasty in Chinese history. This music not only significantly represented the national prestige of the Tang Dynasty but also spread to countries in East, South, and West Asia, facilitating cultural exchanges between the East and West. From the reign of Emperor Taizong to the end of the Tang Dynasty, “Po Zhen Yue” evolved into numerous versions. However, the diverse materials from this period have made it difficult for later generations to determine the relationships among these sources. This article integrates historical research and the study of the music’s essence to analyze the development and transformation of “Po Zhen Yue” during the Tang Dynasty. | |||||||||
