| 内容記述 | This paper examines a handwritten document titled Ganzhuerwa Jianlüe Yuanliu (The Brief Origin of the Kanjurwa) and provides an accompanying commentary. This Chinese-language document outlines the genealogy of the Kanjurwa Khutughtus, a prominent lineage of reincarnated high-ranking monks originating from Inner Mongolia. For generations, their main bases were the Huizong Temple in Dronnor and the Badghar monastery in Baotou. However, in 1949, the fifth Kanjurwa Khutughtu (1914-1978) relocated to Taiwan, along with the survey of the Kuomintang (Chinese Nationalist Party). In late August 2024, the author had the opportunity to visit Taipei and survey the Kanjur-Labrang Collection. The document discussed in this paper was among the personal belongings of the fifth Kanjurwa Khutughtu, which were made accessible for viewing during this visit. This previously unpublished document is introduced and analyzed here for the first time. Through an analysis of this document, this paper sheds light on how the fifth Kanjurwa Khutughtu addressed the issue of succession regarding the status and property of the incarnate high priest. | |||||
