| 内容記述 | During the Qing Dynasty, the scholar Bai Yongzhen noted that “all the Taoist temples in the Liaoning Province found by Guo Shouzhen and his disciples enshrined the deity Hei Laotaitai (Heimama).” However, the historical records of the Hei Mama worship from that era are limited. It is only in recent years that a handful of scholars have begun to explore the Hei Mama worship, yet with the field studies on this topic remaining sparse. This paper explores the Hei Mama worship in the Liaoning Province, by examining the differences between the Hei Mama statues across different temples through field investigations. Additionally, it examines the contemporary status of the Hei Mama belief. | |||||||||
