| 内容記述 | 因子的不変性に関する理論的・実証的研究は広く蓄積されてきている。本研究ノートでは、因子的不変性に関する理論的考察を行い、矢田部・ギルフォード性格検査を用いて2集団間（男性・女性）の因子的不変性を検討し、さらに三つの期間にわたって同じ検査を使用して収集されたデータの因子的不変性を分析した。理論的考察では、修正指数の使用、因子的不変性に関する16の仮説モデルの評価、因子分析モデルの指定、観測変数間の独自性間共分散の推定などを議論した。男女の2集団を分析した結果、3因子（情緒不安定性、支配性、非反省的思考）の因子パターン行列、因子共分散行列、観測変数の独自性は不変であったが、一部の切片は不変でなかった。因子得点に有意差が認められたのは、女性の第1因子のみであった。同様に、異なる時点で収集された3集団の分析から、因子パターン行列と因子の分散・共分散行列は不変であることが示された。集団間差は、いくつかの独自性と、情緒不安定性と支配性について第3の集団の因子得点の平均値において特定された。また、モデル特定の過程における修正指数の適用、特に観測変数の独自性間共分散の推定について議論した。付録には、分析に使用したMplusスクリプトを、その解説とともに掲載している。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | Theoretical and empirical studies on factorial invariance have been extensively accumulated. In this research note, we conducted theoretical discussions on factorial invariance, examined factorial invariance between two groups (male and female) using the Yatabe-Guilford Personality Test, and further analyzed factorial invariance in data collected from the same test across three different time periods. Theoretical considerations included the use of modification indices, the evaluation of 16 hypothetical models of factorial invariance, the specification of the factor analysis model, and the estimation of unique covariances among observed variables. The analysis of the male and female groups revealed that the factor pattern matrix for three factors (Emotional Instability, Dominance, and Nonreflective Thinking), the factor covariance matrix, and the uniqueness of observed variables were invariant, while some intercepts were not invariant. The only significant difference in factor scores was observed in the first factor for females. Similarly, analysis of the data collected from three independent studies showed that the factor pattern matrix and the factor variance-covariance matrices were invariant. Differences between the groups were identified in some uniqueness and the means of factor scores for Emotional Instability and Dominance only in the third study. We also discussed the application of modification indices in the model specification process, particularly concerning the estimation of unique covariances among observed variables.
