| 内容記述 | Rintaro Takeda published many novels in newspapers during the prewar Showa period. His first work, Ginza Haccho, was serialized in the evening edition of Asahi Shimbun. He then serialized two more works in other newspapers, followed by Fusoku 50 Meter in the morning edition of Asahi Shimbun. In this work, the passage of time in reality and its passage in the internal world of fiction are linked. The serialization of the novel coincided with the outbreak of the Marco Polo Bridge Incident and its escalation in the Sino-Japanese War. Fusoku 50 Meter depicts many aspects of this period in history and the customs and social events of the time. This paper analyzes specific examples and forms a detailed study of the relationship between reality and fiction in newspaper novels. | |||||
