Many historic settlement which targeted has been abandoned and turned into wilderness. Even in such areas, laser surveys were able to acquire a significant point cloud dataset, allowing the creation of a 3D model of the surface terrain. By analyzing the 3D model alongside historical records from the Ryukyu Kingdom and the modern period, it became evident that the surveyed area, consisted of three flat surfaces. It revealed the existence of the old Nakijin and old Oyadomari settlements on the uppermost flat surface. Additionally, the stone structures on the lowest flat surface, whose nature couldn’t be determined, were identified through historical research as ritual place. This ritual spaces were inferred for sending off gods by visual analysis on 3D model.
