| 内容記述 | アウトドアスポーツの指導者は、参加者が安全に活動するために必要な技術や知識を教示する重要な役割を果たしている。国外ではアウトドアスポーツの指導について多様な研究が報告されているものの、日本国内ではほとんど見られず、アウトドアスポーツがどのような意識の下で指導されているのかは不明である。本研究では、各種アウトドアスポーツの指導者を対象として、それぞれの種目の実施時における指導意識について調査するとともに、一般的な競技スポーツ指導者の指導意識と比較することによ り、その特徴を明らかにすることを目的とした。調査対象者は、アウトドアスポーツの指導経験を有する男女60 名（以下、アウトドア群）、および競技スポーツの指導経験を有する男女51 名（以下、競技群）であった。調査対象者の年齢、実施種目、実施種目の経験年数および指導年数、および13 項目の指導意識について回答を求めた。その結果、アウトドア群は「安全に活動する知識と技術の指導」や「活動に際するマナーの指導」の指導を重要視していた一方で、「体力の向上」、「忍耐力の育成」、「困難を克服する態度の育成」等の指導は比較的重要視していないことが明らかとなった。競技群との比較の結果、「安全に活動する知識と技術の指導」や「生涯スポーツへの導入・勧誘」の設問においてアウトドア群が有意に高値を示し、「集団行動の重要性に関する指導」「困難を克服する態度の育成」「体力の向上」「忍耐力や我慢強さの育成」の設問において競技群が有意に高値を示した。また「他のスポーツの紹介や導入」の設問においては両群とも低値を示し、さらに競技群においては有意に低値を示した。以上の結果から、アウトドアスポーツ指導者の特徴が明らかとなった。 |

| 内容記述 | Adventure sports coaches play an important role in teaching the skills and knowledge to ensure participants’ safety. Various studies have been reported on the coaching of adventure sports in other countries, but few studies have been reported in Japan. The purpose of this study was to investigate the instructional awareness of adventure sports coaches and to compare them with those of competitive sports coaches. Sixty coaches of adventure sports and 51 coaches of competitive sports participated in this study, and survey with questionnaire was conducted. They were asked about their age, sporting events they teach, years of experience, years of coaching, and 13 items of coaching awareness. The results showed that the adventure sports coaches attached importance to “Knowledge and skills for safe activities” and “Manners during activities.” On the other hand, it was clear that they attached relatively little importance to “Improving physical fitness,” “Developing perseverance and patience,” and “Developing an attitude to overcome difficulties.” Compared to competitive sports coach group, the adventure sports coach group showed significantly higher values for the questions “Knowledge and skills for safe activities” and “Introduction and recruitment to lifelong sports,” while the competitive sports coach group showed significantly higher values for the questions “Importance of group behavior,” “Developing an attitude to overcome difficulties,” “Improving physical fitness,” and “Developing perseverance and patience.” Both groups showed low values for the questions “Introduction to other sports,” and even significantly lower values for the competitive sports coach group than adventure sports coach group. These results reveal the characteristics of adventure sports coach. | |||||
