Shizuoka Prefecture has long been famous as a soccer powerhouse prefecture in Japan. The author paid particular attention to Fujieda and Shimizu area respectively. Both soccer roots date back before WWII. Enthusiastic teachers who have studied soccer at higher, normal schools started to teach to children.
