Regarding the topography, there are hills on the north side and plain on the south side in Suita. In addition, the plain is classified some zones based on the geomorphological properties. According to my research into the development of remains on the plain, I confirmed that it has continued to use as inhabited area on Suita sandbank since ancient times, and that cultivation area has stretched on Aigawa and Kanzakigawa lowlands around Suita sandbank. It has converted to cultivated land especially on Aigawa lowland from the Middle ages.
