| 内容記述 | This is a translation of the Pyramid Texts of Unis from Utterance 23 to Utterance 57. In 2009, I started a plan to translate the Pyramid Texts of Unis from hieroglyphic texts into Japanese according to his original utterance order. The present paper is a second part in succession to the first one from Utterance 226 to Utterance 243. An aim in this translation project is to prepare a direct access, not through European translation, to the Pyramid Texts for Japanese specialists and any people who are interested in religions, ancient history and also Egyptology. Another aim is to contribute to the conservation works that the "Egyptian-Japanese Mission for the Mastaba Idout" conducted from 2003 by reconstructing some religious background of mastaba in the Old Kingdom. Idout's mastaba dates to the same age as Unis constructed his pyramid in Saqqara. In this paper, I present a new coherent translation by referring to the works of Samuel A. B. Mercer (1952), Alexandre Piankoff (1968), Raymond O. Faulkner (1969), James P. Allen (2005), and Claude Carrier (2009). | |||||
