Epoxy resin is widely utilizing for restoration of cultural properties and it showed superior decay durability. It is possible to produce porous structure with higher permeability using emulsion type epoxy resin and by controlling cure rate. The obtaining better balance of the permeability and the filling fraction to the pores is possible by controlling the monomer and oligomer ratio in silicate resin for alkyl silicate resin. The viscoelastic and the surface properties of Palaroid B-72 were measured to clarify the adhesion property. The Tg of Palaroid B-72 was slightly higher than room temperature. It showed low critical surface tension (18mN/m).
