From the survey in 2010, it can be said that the old urban area of Saqqara village is currently at a major turning point. Dilapidated houses in the old urban area are becoming for low-income earners. Households with a high income move to new larger houses outside of the old urban area. The aging houses have a traditional form of housing and are older than 100 years. These significant elements reflect the cultural values and regional characteristics of Saqqara village. If the current situation continues, there is concern about the possibility that the old urban area might become slums.
