Following the conference, 28 members of the Japanese delegation visited China, arriving at Shenzhen on April 20, 1955, and starting their tour of Guangdong on April 21. My paper entitled “The Travel Diary of Hino Ashihei after Participating in the 1955 Asian Countries Conference: From India to Hong Kong and Guangdong” (Kansai Daigaku Bungaku Ronshu [Essays and studies by members of the Faculty of Letters, Kansai University], September 2015) addresses Hino’s visit to China as far as Guangdong. This paper focuses primarily on the subsequent tour of Hankou from April 22 to 24, 1955. It was found that Hino was observing and considering the situation in post-revolutionary China with great care and humility.}, pages = {39--60}, title = {火野葦平の新中国視察記 ― 広東から、漢口へ}, volume = {49}, year = {2016} }
