| 内容記述 | The Chinese studies of Gozan in the Middle Ages were initially subordinate to Buddhism, but gradually became independent of Buddhism and attained the level of a specialized discipline in their own right. Along with this change, Gozan Zen monks are actively developing specialized Chinese studies lecture activities. Unlike traditional Chinese lectures, the Gozan Zen monk's approach to Chinese studies were not only more organized and open, but also included a movement to organize lecture notes and holding notes as abstracts. The creation of abstracts is not limited to Gozan Zenrin, but is spread throughout the Han Chinese knowledge group in medieval Japan through academic negotiations with Zen monks, the Kiyohara family, and doctors. | |||||
