| 内容記述 | Alvin Pierson Parker (1850-1924) was an American missionary who preached in China for almost 50 years. During this time, he compiled and published various Chinese textbooks. Parker wrote articles related to Chinese learning, initiating requirements for Chinese teachers, recommending Chinese learning books to learners, and was also instrumental in summarizing several Chinese learning methods. Parker also wrote an article about Nanking Language School, including its exam content, reasons for success and personal suggestions, Consequently, Parker's influence is still of significance to the field of Chinese in second language teaching. | |||||
