| 内容記述 | This paper focusses on revealing Wang Guowei's attitude towards traditional Chinese scholarship in the past decade. It brings on a new viewpoint on the process and characteristics of Guowei's research into Western philosophy and the reasons for abandoning it. It can inferred that Guowei introduced Western learning to the analogy of injecting 'river water' into the 'ocean' of traditional erudition in order to stimulate the 'ocean waves' to increase the capacity and the energy of the seawater. Even though Guowei is encouraging Western education at the level of academic independence, he believes that the purpose of Western scholarship is to stimulate and enrich Chinese traditional learning. Therefore this paper argues that even though Guowei studied Western philosophy, he promoted the integration of Chinese education with the Western one, he is actually based on the academic value of Chinese traditional culture. | |||||
