Most important factors are two , sex and status i.e. students (undergraduate)/non-students. We tried to show a presence and meaning of differences due to these factors in youths' consciousness and experiences date which have been gathered through our survey conducted to twenty-year-old youths in Suita City, Osaka in 1982. Value consciousness was typologically analyzed by HAYASHI's quantification theory. As a result, it was cleared that the consciousness types were more closely related to sex than status. This could be attributed to the sexual differentiation in their socialization. Retrospective data consisted of personal experiences involved their \"significant others\".
