Thirty-two hexis scales were derived from two steps of the principal component analyses of correlation matrix of 400 item responses of four-point rating scaIe type of the test obtained from male and female university students. Six intrinsic Rorschach factors of the primary factor level : Analytical Attitude, Inner Control, Emotional Stability, Interpersonl Sensitivity, Abstract Thinking and Suppression for Sexual Drive beside Acquiescence Factor were extracted. Primary factor scales were construeted according to the above factor-analytic study by the principle of factor-trueness proposed by Cattell and Tsujioka using a Fortran program written by Shimizu. Acquiescence Factor was divided into two scales : Positive and Negative Acquiescence Scale.
