| 内容記述 | It has been made clear that Galileo's astronomical discoveries with the telescope and Kepler's optical astronomy substantially contributed to the Ch'ungchên astronomical reform inaugurated in 1629 in late Ming China. It was because Hsü Kuang-ch'i (1562-1633), who took charge of the reform, was very conscious of the improvement of accuracy of astronomical date. The contribution of Kepler's optical astronomy in particular has for the first time been found crucial at the compilation of the Ch'ung-chên Li-shu astronomical encyclopaedia, and has been evaluated in the light of the comparative study of the history of astronomy. | |||||

| 内容記述 | 望遠鏡の考案およびガリレオの望遠鏡による天文学上の諸発見，さらにケプラーの光学天文学の諸成果が，明末の中国において1629年に開始された崇禎改暦という一大国家的科学事業に本質的な貢献をしたことを，はじめて明らかにした。この改革の最高責任者であった徐光啓（1562-1633）は，この新しい体系の精度の改良を最重要課題にしてヨーロッパ天文学の導入をはかったため，ガリレオの発見やケプラーの成果の一部が精度の高さという基準に照らして，このとき編纂された『崇禎暦書』に重大な寄与をすることになった。本論では、『崇禎暦書』の「月離暦指」「交食暦指」を構成している諸篇に，ケプラーの光学天文学が多く取り入れられていることを実証することに力点をおいた。 | |||||
