Nowadays, Procrustes analyses have been generalized so that the methods can be applicable to differrent multivariate solutions from the different many (at least two or more) groups. The author pointed out that every sort of Procrustes analysis is mathematically the special case of the generalized Procrustes analysis and he proposed the criteria for its application from a new point of view in this framework. And the hierarchical structure of these criteria for application was explained by means of both mathematical formulations and also numerical examples. The factor solutions of the YG Personality Inventory obtained from 3 groups of highschoolboys were checked numerically by means of both sum of squares of differences of orthogonal Procrustes solutions and also of correlation coefficient of coordinate axes.
