| 内容記述 | この研究の目的は，プロクラステス解法の体系化をはかるとともに，このプロクラステス解法に基礎をおく多次元構造モデルを確認するためのシステムの適用基準を提示することである。現今，プロクラステス解法は，異なる多くの（すくなくとも2群かそれ以上）集団からの異種の多変量解析解に適用できるまでに一般化された。著者は，様々なプロクラステス解法を，この一般化されたプロクラステス解法の特殊形であると指摘した上で，この枠組みのもとで，新たな観点からの適用基準を提案した。また，この適用基準の階層構造が，数学的展開と数値例によって解説された。3群の高校生男子から得られたYG性格検査の資料の因子分析解が，直交プロクラステス解の誤差平方和および座標軸間相関の観点からの数値例検証に用いられた。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | The purpose of this study is to systematize the Procrustes analyses and is to propose the criteria of application for a synthetic system for confirming a multidimensional structure model. Nowadays, Procrustes analyses have been generalized so that the methods can be applicable to differrent multivariate solutions from the different many (at least two or more) groups. The author pointed out that every sort of Procrustes analysis is mathematically the special case of the generalized Procrustes analysis and he proposed the criteria for its application from a new point of view in this framework. And the hierarchical structure of these criteria for application was explained by means of both mathematical formulations and also numerical examples. The factor solutions of the YG Personality Inventory obtained from 3 groups of highschoolboys were checked numerically by means of both sum of squares of differences of orthogonal Procrustes solutions and also of correlation coefficient of coordinate axes.
