| 内容記述 | 情報処理的心理学の領域で，1979年から1988年の10年間に出版された本のなかから，影響力の大きい，重要なもの20冊が選ばれて，論評された。全体として，古いタイプの人工知能の影響から，より洗練された情報処理の考えへの発展の傾向が明らかであり，特に，生物学的リアリティー獲得と，環境との相互作用の具体的分析の，二つの新しい方向性の出現が着目される。前者は，並列分散処理あるいはコネクショニズムといったモデルの出現と，運動行為やメンタル・モデル，メンタル・スペースなど，認知の行動・空間的側面の研究の増加にうかがえる。後者は，新ギブソン学派や応用認知科学の研究に明らかである。情報処理的心理学における，この二つの方向の研究のさらなる発展と結合によって，人間の心への新しい科学的見方が成立することが期待される。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | Twenty influential or important books on human information processing, published from 1979 to 1988 are reviewed. In these books, one overall trend and two interesting new orientations can be noted:ie, depature from the influences of old type AI and the sophistication of concepts on human information processing, and emergences of biological and environmental orientations. Biological orientations are seen, in the emergence of pararell distributed processing or connectionist model, and increasing studies of behavio-spatial aspects of cognition, such as motor actions, mental models, mental space, etc. Environmental orientations are evident, in the studies of Neo-Gibsonian school and applied cognitive science. It is argued that, further developments and the convergence of these two orientations, in the studies on human information processing, can bring us the new scientific perspective of human mind. | |||||
