| 内容記述 | 世界のどの国の宗教でも，こと宗教となると必ず奇跡がつきまとう。ここでは仏教の見宝塔品を採り上げて，奇跡の意味するところを考えてみた。意味するところは釈迦牟尼仏の永遠の教えと，後世に伝える者への強い要望である。釈迦牟尼仏よりも古い仏である多宝如来の壮大な宝塔が空中に出現して，二仏が並んで座る宝塔から，仏の限りない委託が伝えられる。ひるがえってカトリックの世界では，G. K. チェスタトンがキリスト教の奇跡の意味を考えている。チェスタトンは奇跡を否定する科学的な物質主義者に反論を加えている。宗教と科学の相克の問題である。ここでは奇跡を肯定する立場をとった。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | Any religion in the world involves the phnomenon of miracle. Meaning of miracle in Buddhism are discussed here through Stupasamdarsana in saddharma pundarika sutra, which expresses the eternal teaching of Shakyamuni as well as missionary message to the followers. Magnificently treasured tower of Prabhutaratna, an older Buddha than Shakyamuni, appeared together in the sky to tell infinite trust from Buddha. Turning to the world of Catholicism, G. K. Chesterton, realizing the meaning of miracle, refuted the scientific materialism. I would also take the the positive side with miracle in the coriflict between religion and science. | |||||
