| 内容記述 | 本研究の目的は，2文によって惹起された矛盾状況の認知構造を明らかにすることである。日本人男女大学生371名に対して，100項目の矛盾事態のそれぞれがどの程度矛盾していると思うかを7件で評定するよう求めた。評定の結果得られた100×100次の相関行列が主成分分析され，斜交の6因子すなわち，価値判断基準に対する矛盾，前提条件に依存する矛盾，結果の生起確率の低い矛盾，接続条件の欠如による矛盾，感情的な状況における矛盾，思慮不足による矛盾，が解釈された。この6種類の一次因子に対する二次因子分析は，3次元の認知構造を示した。すなわち，結果の生起確率の低い矛盾と推続条件の欠如による矛盾とからなる知的（または論理的）矛盾，感情的な状況における矛盾と思慮不足による矛盾とからなる感情的矛盾，価値判断基準に対する矛盾と前提条件に依存する矛盾とからなる意志的矛盾の3次元である。これらの認知構造が，Festingerの認知的不協和理論とBakerの理解モニタリング規準との関連で論じられた。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | The purpose of this study was to reveal the cognitive structure in the inconsistent situations caused by paired contradictive sentences. Japanese university students(N=371) were instructed to rate one hundred inconsistent situations into seven points scale in terms of subjective judgement of inconsistency. The obtained correlation matrix(100X100) was analyzed by princial component analysis and six oblique factors were interpreted as Value Judgement, Preconditional Dependence, Less Probable Outcome, Lack of Connective Condition, Emotional Situation, and Thoughtlessness. Second-order factors from primary6 factor correlations indicates the three dimensions of cognitive structure, i.e. Intellectual or Logical Inconsistency composed of Less Probable Outcome and Lack of Connective Condition; Emotional Inconsistency composed of Emotional Situation and Thoughtlessness; and Intentional Inconsistency composed of Value Judgement and Preconditional Dependence. The cognitive structure was discussed in connection with Festinger's cognitive dissonance theory and Baker's comprehension monitoring standards. | |||||
