| 内容記述 | 日本経済は1960年を転機に高度経済成長過程に入り，労働力過剰から不足の状態に転換した。労働力不足が波及するにつれて賃金の上昇が進展したが，とくに大企業に比べて低くかった中小企業は著しい賃金の上昇に迫られ，大企業・中小企業間に存在していた賃金格差が急速に縮小した。第二次世界大戦前において，規模間格差を利用しながら成長する方式をとってきた日本経済は，国民経済のより一層の成長を促すために格差の解消に迫られ，中小企業の近代化が不可欠の要件となったのである。ところが石油危機を契機に，日本経済は低成長経済過程に入り，大企業・中小企業間の賃金格差は，縮小から再び拡大の方向に転じた。本稿は，企業規模間賃金格差が変化してきた内容を，日本経済の二重構造との関わりにおいて考察したものである。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | The Japanese economy passed a turning point in 1960 when it entered a high-pitched growth process, showing a change from a state in which there was a labour force surplus to one in which there was a shortage. With the spread of this labour force shortage, small and medium scale enterprises faced demands for wage increases, which had been very low in comparison with those in large enterprises. Wage differentials between small and large scale enterprises began to show a rapid reduction and the Japanese economy, which had a growth pattern which took advantage of these wage differentials during the pre-war period, entered a period in which modernization of small and medium scale enterprises became an indispensable condition for the furter growth of the national economy. However, with the oil crisis, the Japanese economy entered a state of decelerated economic growth which reversed the trend toward a reduction of wage differential back to the prior state of enlargement. This study examines the wage differentials of Japanese industries in relation to the dual structure of the Japanese economy. | |||||
