In the first-order factor analysis, 4 similar primary factors (Emotional Support, Identification, Control, and Autonomy) were obtained at every stage. In the second-order factor analysis, primary factor correlations were analyzed by means of Schönemann's Procrustian factor analysis and 2 secondary factors (Acceptance and Control) were obtained. It was found that the cognitive structure was differentiated with school children's grades. In the second study, sex and grade differences of four scales of the EICA for mothers and fathers were examined by means of analysis of variance and multiple comparisons by the Tukey method. A main effect of grade was found to be significant in all scales, but the main effect of sex was insignificant.
