| 内容記述 | 旅行は生活行動であり，その主要側面は消費者行動としてとらえられる。旅行現象は複合科学的な研究の対象であり，諸科学が相互に補完し刺激し合う形で促進されるのが望ましい。そのためには，旅行現象の理解の仕方についての研究的枠組みと概念規定に関して共通の基盤をもつ必要がある。そうした認識から，最近20年間の文献のレビューを通して，旅行現象をとらえる社会科学的な包括的モデルと行動科学的な限定的モデルが検討され，また「旅行者」と「旅行」を意味する種々の概念が考察された。なかでも心理学的研究では，「人間行動としての旅行」とりわけ「旅行者行動」が中心的課題になると考えられるが，この観点から，経済学・人類学・社会学などの諸研究が心理学的研究に与える示唆をふまえて，旅行現象の理解に貢献しうる心理学的知見の諸分野を概観し，さらに，旅行者行動のモデルとその心理学的分析課題を整理して「旅行者行動の心理学」の体系化のための方向を探った。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | In this article, an orientation for constructing a theoretical framework of the psychology of tourist behavior is outlined. Tourism phenomena are studied using a multidisciplinary approach. To have a common understanding of tourism, it is emphasized that constructing a research framework of tourism and defining the related terminology are important. According to this perspective, a few models of tourism are reviewed and some conceptual definitions of terms relating to tourism are discussed. Travel is considered as an area of consumer behavior, and it could be approached as a psychological problem. A Psychological approach to tourism is to be centered on "tourist behavior". Some suggestions for psychological research from economic, anthropological and sociological research are commented on, and psychological findings about tourist behavior are overviewed. Two models of tourist behavior are compared and research problems of the "psychology of tourist behavior" are systematically described. | |||||
