One is the push factors which are basic needs and values of tourists, and the other is the pull factors which are the attractions of travel destinations. This paper overviews the research on relationships between the basic needs/values and the perception of attractions of destinations, and reviews the analytical studies of objective and cognitive dimensions of attractions.
