| 内容記述 | スターロゴは，並列版のロゴで，脱中心的システムにおける局所的相互作用からの秩序の創発を探求するためのツールである。スターロゴのミクロ世界では，セルラー・オートマタのパッチ環境のうえで，エージェントとしてのタートルが，互いに，また環境と相互作用する。スターロゴの重要な特徴のひとつは，環境がアクティブな役割をしめすことである。論文の前半では，相互作用からの創発についての著者の立場が提示された。これは，相互作用を分散的なものと連結的なもの，直接的なものと環境媒介的なものにわけ，種々のタイプの相互作用からの創発を総合的にとらえていこうとするものである。論文の後半では，スターロゴの背景にある分散的構成主義のかんがえが紹介され，スターロゴ言語と典型的なプロジェクトについて解説された。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | StarLogo, a parallel and advanced version of Logo, is a tool to explore the phenomena of emergence of order from local interactions in decentralized system. In the micro-world of StarLogo, turtles as agents interact with each other and also with patches as environment (embodied as some kind of cellular automata). An important characteristic of StarLogo is the active role played by the environment. In the first part of the article, the author's frame for the understandings of the emergence from interactions is presented. It is a frame to classify the various kinds of interactions, from distributed interactions to joint interactions, and from direct interactions to environment-mediated-interactions. In the next part of the article, distributed constructionism, that is a backbone idea of StarLogo projects, is presented. Finally StarLogo as a computer language and typical StarLogo programs are introduced and annotated in some detail. | |||||
