内容記述 | Both Chu ASAI,a Western oil painter,and Kinnosuke NATSUME,an English literature scholar,lived in Europe at the beginning of 20th century,and although Asai stayed in Paris and Natsume in London,they made friends to each other. This paper compares the difference of lifestyle and intention of these two artists in that era,especially focusing on the difference of their interests in sensuality of so called fin-de-siecle art,and try to see the gap of epoch and the fundamental fluctuation of human existence and connect them to the question on possibility of literature as one of poiesis (creating). This question is based on my criticical judgment in relation to Jun ETO's essay on NATSUME,but this question was for me formed as how to explain what is not able to be explained in language,and shows a part of thought to look for another possibility of poiesis. | |||||
