| 内容記述 | 本研究では、山口（1992）の実験における問題点を改善した上で、偽装検出に関する特別な訓練を受けていない31人の看護学校の学生を用いて実験をおこなった。実験では、学生が、偽装された表情を、正直な表情とは区別して検出できるかどうかが調べられた。16人の大学生（以下彼らのことを“演技者”と呼ぶ）に対して、たとえCRT画面上で不快な画像を見ていたときでも、不快な感情を隠蔽し、自分が快適な様子であると主張するよう求めることによって、偽装をおこなわせた。実験の結果、学生は、チャンスレベルを超えて偽装検出をおこなうことはできないことが示された。しかしながら、演技者別に分析をおこなったところ、4名の演技者に対しては、チャンスレベルを超えて偽装検出をおこなうことができることが見いだされた。また、この4名の演技者間で、学生が偽装検出に用いた手がかりに、違いがあることも見いだされた。これらの結果は、偽装における個人差が存在することを示唆している。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | In this study, we conducted an experiment with 31 nursing students who were not specialized for detecting deception. The study was designed as an improvement on Yamaguchi's experiment(1992). In this experiment, we examined whether the students can detect deceptive facial expressions from honest ones. Deception was made by asking 16 university students("actors" in the following) to conceal negative feeling and falsely claim to be enjoying themselves even when they watched unpleasant pictures on the CRT screen. Results showed that the students cannot detect deceptive facial expressions above a chance level. However, when the analysis of the results was carried out separately by actors, it was found that the students can detect deceptive facial expressions in 4 of the 16 actors above a chance level. Also, it was found that among these 4 actors, there were differences in cues which students used in detecting deception. These results suggest that there are individual differences in deceiving one's emotion. | |||||
