From these view points, Terashima et al. (2002) developed the Education Program for Integrated Stress Management in Children with four stages. The 11 lessons based on this program were carried out with third grade elementary school students. The purpose of this study is to consider the usefulness of this program, and how to improve it. After these lessons, several students were used to converse using many words on stress, and exercised the relaxation method during recess. A home-room teacher reported that she was more easily able to manage her classes than previously. When stress management education is carried out in low grade schoolchildren, it is necessary to pay attention to the following points. First, it is difficult for them to learn sensitivity training because it is so complicated that they are not able to understand how to exercise.
