The subjects were 424 wives and 224 husbands. Analyses generally showed that \"Family unit orientation\" reduced the wife's dissatisfaction toward both the imbalance of division of housework and the husband's motivation to become involved in housework. Gender-schematic wives seem to have given up their role overload, because even though they have little dissatisfaction, they still have difficulties for working.
