| 内容記述 | London, British Library, MS. Harley 913, written in Ireland about 1330, is well known because it contains the unique text of The Land of Cockaigne. It consists of forty-eight works in English, French, and Latin ;some texts are incomplete in various ways and some disarranged in the present manuscript. In 1990, Angela M. Lucas and Peter J. Lucas tried to reconstruct the original structure of MS. Harley 913. However, their conclusion left many problems and is far from convincing. I should like to present a different conclusion which I have drawn from my re-examination of the manuscript. | |||||
