| 内容記述 | The Great Hanshin Earthquake suddenly struck the region from Kobe to Osaka Nearly 6300 people lost their life, and more than 300,000 people were homeless for a few days. After half day later, all newspapers in Japan started to carry a lot of serious stories on the earthquake. The headlines used in the newspapers treated a lot of reports about severe damaged and destroyed buildings, trapped people, fires, and crying people so on. The reports, however, did not covered all information refugees actually need at that moment, because one of reasons is that no journalists had ever experienced such a big urban earthquake. In order to show the unbalanced headlines for refugees, the database on headlines of 14 big earthquakes from postwar was built. And headline's map for earthquake used period and number of headlines correspond to key words was proposed, in which key words (total 47) for earthquake compose 4 groups, "disaster, earthquake, revival and measure, a state of affairs" Map patterns was classified into 4 types" I :Small scale damage, II :Middle scale damage, III :Large scale damage, IV :Huge scale damage, because small patches of keywords - period contour grows to mosaic pattern with increasing degree of disaster. Typical earthquakes represented 4 types are I :Kushiro-oki Earthguake, II :Miyagiken-oki Earthquake III :Niigata Earthquake, IV :Great Hanshin Earthquake. The differences of map patterns are very obvious, so this map method is useful to analyze the issues and characteristics of whole headlines of earthquake. Before big earthquake, journalists have to consider, when and what types of information refugees need. Headline's Map for earthquake will help to simulate the editing newspaper on the assumption of any scale damages. | |||||
