 note = {In chapter 1, I outline the concept of "Engineering Ethics mediated by artifacts". In short, engineers make artifacts. And these objects produce effects on both human beings and society. In chapter 2, I describe the engineering design. The key point here is that the engineering design is oriented toward various values, including ethical value. While this may be considered trivial, some schematic diagrams designate non-trivial points. In chapter 3, I clarify the meaning of some diagrams while also pointing out a number of philosophical implications., 工学倫理の基本的考え方を幾つかの図を使って提示しようとした。一つ目は、人工物に媒介された倫理というポイントである。二つ目は、設計に関わる価値という側面である。興味深いポイントは、工学の設計はもともともと価値を扱うという点であり、さらにその価値同士の間にはトレードオフと言われる副作用が生じるということである。その価値の相互作用の下で、総合された解として、設計解が出来上がるという点である。単純に、安全や環境という価値を重視するとは言っても、他の制約条件、価値を無視できないというのが少し自明な結論である。さらに、以上の論点について哲学的なコメントを付け加えた。},
